2005
• Executives of the EMES Group (formerly known as the Dolphin Group) acquire Pampa Energía to channel their acquisitions into the energy sector.
2006:
• Acquires co-control of Transener and the controlling stake in Hidroeléctrica los Nihuiles, Hidroeléctrica Diamante and the Güemes Thermal Power Plant.
• In May, the capital increase was made for the first time by 140 million shares at 1 peso per share, and in September by 300 million shares at 1.15 pesos per share.
2007:
• Acquires the Loma de La Lata Thermal Power Plant and the Piedra Buena Thermal Power Plant.
• Increases capital by 480 million shares to AR$2.61 per share and uses it to acquire control of Edenor through a share swap.
2008:
• Increases the installed capacity of the Güemes Thermal Power Plant by 100 MW with an investment of $80 million.
2009
• Under the ticker “PAM”, the ADSs begin trading on the NYSE.

2011:
• Acquires co-control of Transportadora de Gas del Sur (TGS).
• Commercially opens the first combined cycle plant at the Loma de La Lata Thermal Power Plant, increasing its capacity by 180 MW with an investment of $250 million.
2013:
• Signed an agreement with YPF, in which the subsidiary Petrolera Pampa agreed to invest $151.5 million in exchange for 50% of hydrocarbon production in the Rincón del Mangrullo area in Neuquén.
2014:
• Petrolera Pampa begins trading on the BCBA
2015:
• Incorporates a new LMS 100 turbine at the Loma de la Lata Thermal Power Plant with an investment of $100 million.
2016:
• Acquires majority stake and control of Petrobras Argentina SA for $892 million.
• Pampa Energía merges with Petrobras Argentina and begins operating as a single organization effective November 1, 2016, maintaining the name Pampa Energía.
2017:
• Issues a 10-year bond for $750 million.
• Incorporates a new LMS 100 turbine at the Loma de la Lata Thermal Power Plant with an investment of $100 million.
• Inaugurates the Parque Pilar and Ingeniero White Thermoelectric Plants, each with 100 MW, with an investment of $200 million.
2018:
• Extends concessions for 35 years in the El Mangrullo and Sierra Chata areas.
• The first wind farm in Bahía Blanca, “Ing. Mario Cebreiro,” is launched, with an installed capacity of 100 MW and an investment of $130 million.
• Construction begins on two more wind farms in the Bahía Blanca area, each with a capacity of 53 MW and a total investment of $140 million.
2019:
• Inaugurates the Pampa Energía II and III Wind Farms in Bahía Blanca and Coronel Rosales respectively, with an installed capacity of 53 MW each and an investment of $140 million.
• Acquires the Ensenada Barragán Thermal Power Plant together with YPF.
2020:
• Starts up the second combined cycle at the Genelba Thermoelectric Plant, reaching an installed capacity of 1,243 MW, with an investment of $1,440,350 million.
• Makes the first export of Medanito oil, from the fields in the Neuquén basin.
2021:
• Completes the sale of the controlling shareholding of Edenor, announced on December 28, 2020, transferring the Class A shares representing 51% of Edenor's share capital and votes.
2022:
• Winter gas production increases by 60%, reaching 11 million m3/day.
• Acquires 100% of Vientos de Arauco Renovables SAU, the company that operates the Arauco II Wind Farm in La Rioja, with a capacity of 100 MW, for $171 million.
2023:
• Achieves a production of 16 million m3/day of gas during the winter, 40% more than the previous year.
• Carries out an asset swap with Total: it acquires the 100% of the Rincón de Aranda block, extending its concession for 35 years, and transfers the Mario Cebreiro Wind Farm.
• Together with YPF, it launches the combined cycle at the Ensenada Barragán Thermal Power Plant, with a total installed capacity of 847 MW and an investment of more than $1.4T250 million.
• Construction begins on the 140 MW Pampa Energía VI Wind Farm, with a total investment of more than $270 million.
